Accommodations

Students are responsible for all their own meals and accommodations. Local accommodations are available if you live too far away to commute to our shop. Chicone cabinetmaker’s shop is located in the sleepy little village of Montour Falls, on the southern end of Seneca Lake, one of the largest of the region’s Finger Lakes. The area is a growing tourist destination with hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast resorts all within three miles of our facility. A wide selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options is available with plenty of restaurants, wineries, bistros, and cafes. For lunch, most students choose to order from a nearby pizza shop or visit the Harvest Café both on Main Street in Montour Falls and in easy walking distance from the shop. We have listed some of the closer accommodations to our school.

Area Attractions

There is a lot to do and see in the Finger Lakes area. Whether you want to come by yourself, bring a friend, or your family, visit the local area chamber of Commerce to get a sense of the possibilities. Our chamber of commerce can help.
